Juvederm is an injectable cosmetic filler formulated to fill in lines and wrinkles in the skin, especially in the face. This injectable treatment is formulated with hyaluronic acid (HA), which occurs naturally in the body to fill in the spaces between collagen and elastin in the skin. The purpose of HA is to add volume and smooth the skin, while keeping the skin hydrated by attracting water molecules. Over time, the body loses its ability to produce hyaluronic acid. Is a Juvederm™ Right for Me?
